Mr. John Norton
For the past seven years Mr. Norton has been volunteering in the St. Agatha School Resource Center. He
began his teaching career in the Boston Public Schools. There Mr. Norton not only instructed his students, but he
also was a consultant for teachers. Mr. Norton developed and implemented curriculum programs for Boston Public
Schools that continue to this day to have a positive impact on education. After retiring from public education, Mr.
Norton worked as an administrator at St. Ann School in Quincy. In Mr. Norton's role as assistant principal, he
mentored teachers, developed curriculum, directed standardized testing, and provided academic assistance to
students in grades four through eight.
